FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Second Life, Glenn(23, 101, 27) August 25th, 2007;
Two weeks after the official release, Synthetik is announcing the first major upgrade to it's Subscribe-O-Matic service. The new release adds the ability for subscribers to check the message history and request recently sent items from any Subscribe-O-Matic kiosks around Second Life. In addition, all Subscribe-O-Matic group owners will also have the ability to publish their recent messages and notices through their personalized RSS newsfeed, so their message history will also be easily available outside Second Life. With this update Synthetik added an important feature to the service, laid the groundwork for redefining the way update groups are used in Second Life, and made the first step towards merging in-world notices with Web 2.0 philosophy. About Subscribe-O-Matic Subscribe-O-Matic is a service that aims to redefine the way update groups are used in Second Life. It lets business owners send messages and items to a large group of people, just like with group notices, but without actually requiring those people to join a Second Life group. People can easily subscribe to Subscribe-O-Matic groups by using any of the "powered by Subscribe-O-Matic" kiosks around Second Life. More information and 14-days free trial is available at http://sm.synthetik-on.net.
